AnyUni
Study-abroad platform with a free eligibility checker
AnyUni is an overseas education consultancy. I built their platform where students search 60,000+ UK university courses, check their eligibility with their IELTS score and percentage, and book free counselling.

01Overview
The story
AnyUni helps students from around the world study in the UK. Most students don't know which universities will actually accept them, and the counselling team spends time on applications that were never a good fit. AnyUni needed a website that answers that question first and then connects the student with a counsellor. I built the platform around that journey: a student searches courses, enters their IELTS score and percentage, gets an AI shortlist of courses they qualify for, and can book free counselling right from the results. One-click Google sign-in makes it quick to get started, and spam protection on every form means the team only spends time on real enquiries.

03Challenges
Problems I solved
The tricky parts of this project, and how I got past them.
- Challenge 011
Too many choices
The problem
With 60,000+ courses, students get overwhelmed and leave before they find anything relevant.
How I solved it
The eligibility checker narrows thousands of courses down to a short list in seconds, based on just two inputs.
- Challenge 021
Turning visitors into leads
The problem
Students often check courses and leave without ever talking to the team.
How I solved it
I placed the free counselling offer right after the shortlist, at the moment the student is most interested.
- Challenge 031
Real enquiries, not spam
The problem
Open forms attract fake sign-ups that waste the counselling team's time.
How I solved it
I added Google sign-in and reCAPTCHA, so enquiries come from real students.
